MSME Development & Facilitation Office, Jammu (Formerly Small Industries Service Institute J&K), as per decision of cadre review committee vide Notification No. 32013/1/2020-A(P&T) Dated 27th Dec,2020 is functioning as Nodal Office for UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh. The geographical jurisdiction of this Development & Facilitation Office Jammu has spread 20 districts of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and o2 districts of Union Territory of Ladakh. The name of the districts located in three regional of Jammu , Srinagar & Ladakh. Anantnag, Bandipora, Baramulla, Budgam, Doda, Ganderbal, Jammu, Kargil, Kathua, Kishtwar, Kulgam, Kupwara, Leh, Poonch, Pulwama, Rajouri, Ramban, Reasi, Samba, Shopian, Srinagar and Udhampur. MSME Development & Facilitation Office, Jammu & its Branch Office, Br. DFO Srinagar is extending managerial and economic consultancy services for the development of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and provides comprehensive range of industrial extension services ranging from identification of suitable line of production to marketing of the product. Facilities for Consultancy services are being provided in the fields of Mechanical, Metallurgy, Electrical, Leather & Footwear, Food, Glass & Ceramic, Chemical and Biotechnology. While Industrial Management and Economic Investigation services is also available with the institute. The MSME Development & Facilitation Office, Jammu & its branch office Br. Since inception, the Venture Center has actively supported the

Venture Centre actively creates new start-ups. Most of these start-ups
are micro -enterprises at inception. Venture Centre focuses on a class
of micro-enterprises that are developing inventive or
